I was worried they were going to make Sue a transgender black man or something. But they largely avoided the LGBT gender swapping/race bending
I didn't actually mind black johnny storm, but at least make his sister black if you going that route, don't just change the whole relationship or background oof characters to be inclusive
This casting makes me think they might trying to cater to comic books fans instead of trying to cater to every community.

Yeah, i don't want to derail the thread, but thats my whole thing. Marvel comics is already diverse af. Tell those stories if you want more black character. I grew up a fan of Luke Cage, Not Johnny Storm

This is literally the 4th or 5th time they tried to sell us on the Fantastic 4. Nobody cares about them, they should just focus on other characters and have them sprinkled in other Marvel movies as side characters.

Having them each show up in different movies to build them up as a team would've been good. For example, Reed could have shown up in that last ant man movie.

Similar to how the avengers were built up with different members being shown or confirmed to exist at the end of the different movies.

Interestingly the director of thr last movie wanted that but fox stopped him.

But this cast is all white. So I am sure the fan boys will complain about Reed being south American

Nah, we wanted T'Challa recasted and the money proved it. Crazy part is they could have WAITED. They did not have to do a second movie so soon. They wanted their cake and to eat it too.
