You are missing the point by a mile yourself. It isn't about how well known the comic book character is, its about a role in a major global blockbuster that should have been cast with an Asian actor being given to a white person. That is where the issue is.

They changed the origin of his character for the movie, his origin isn't the same as the comic book and he doesn't try to be Arab just like they did the Mandarin. It's a completely different character than the comic book, it's not white washing like the Prince of Persia movie lmao.

Once again Ras Al Ghul was portrayed as an arab in the movie, he had no ties to Arabia, he didn't dress like an arab, he was a mercenary who wandered the Earth and his name was Ducard. Ras Al Ghul is a title anyone can assume did you even watch the movie.
