Think it was in the UK wherr 16 is the legal age of consent.

Not trying to defend the guy, but that’s how his country operates. But I can see why there was outrage from the US fan base.

I don't think the two are connected. there are plenty of states where the legal age of consent is below 18 but that doesn't mean it's looked at as normal for grown ass dudes to go after high schoolers
