"Good" isn't how I would describe it, "interesting" is the better word. At times it's an absolutely fascinating picture, but it is not something you just put on and "enjoy" as it can feel very distant. I do think everyone with even a bit of love for cinema has to have watched it at least once, because there really is nothing else quite like it.

I hate when Hollywood movies have foreign characters speak English in an accent. Either do it in the correct language with subtitles or just have the actors speak in an American accent. fukk this half assed bullshyt

Why do they force the Portuguese accent but pronounce the Portuguese names in flat American English 
If I'm going to suspend belief, which I'm willing to do, and be ok with an Italian and two Portuguese priests from the 17th century speaking perfect English, why wouldn't they have accents from the U.K., even forgetting the anachronistic element
I know I'm nitpicking but language is my thing. For a movie that is driven by dialogue, you'd think someone would pay attention to this
And now I'm really going out on a limb here but Portugal has a robust film community with plenty of good young actors who would eat garfield's lunch
