In the Bible god doesnt want a person vainly boasting faith publicly for show remember? Plus David repented by being in that room alone. 2) MLK was on the frontlines of the civil rights movement. Thats a righteous cause and more then enough proof of repenting for having sex with a woman that wasnt his wife.

Also, there's a difference between God exalting someone and man exalting someone and "blessing" them. People bless demons all the time and hold them in high regard. Go look at ya boy Churchill. CACs praise him as some kind of a man's man when he pretty much hated non-whites.

The biggest problem most blacks had with segregation was that even though they claimed separate but equal it wasn't equal. Our people lived in worse conditions, our children received worse educations, everything that was black was second class. I believe in the concept of doing for self, had black unity and nationalism been more embraced than integration then we wouldnt have a lot of the problems we have today like the black community having x amount of billions in spending power but we can't use/keep it to better our own community, or black women being the primary spenders in a hair industry in which blacks have almost no control over. The biggest thing integration took from us was pride in having our own, begging for a seat at the man's table instead of making your own. I'm not on no back to Africa shyt I just think integration left us in a fukked up situation because we can't do anything for ourselves. Integration was about more than just blacks and whites gettin along.

You're right that I don't know what kind of repenting he did behind closed doors. That's not really even important. What I said was he did not show us that he repented.. which he didn't. There is no proof that he did. That's the point. David changed his ways and lived life according to God's principles. If God wanted the world to know, through scripture, that David repented, then obviously it is certain that he repented. Unless of course you don't trust the Bible for whatever reasons you may have.

This whole paragraph is also you reaching. God exalted David through scripture and made it clear that He was exalting David. Nothing other than your own imagination proves that God exalted MLK. Evil men have been exalted by men all the time and are praised as heroes and men of God.

Him being famous for the CRM and claiming to believe in God is about as related as I am to any ant that I've ever stepped on in the past decade.

Hell, why don't you go look at the average black preacher? They are constantly exalted by their communities as being men of God, but does God Himself put them in such a high place, or is it men who praise them while not knowing of exactly what they do and turning a blind eye to the things they DO KNOW they do?
