Agreed. Will was the perfect Mike Lawry and that was really the start of Will's hot streak in film.
It was for the better but I coulda swore I saw something once saying Val Kilmer and someone else I cant remember were the original picks. So this after the fact??? Eddie got his "Bad Boys" movie later.

Will was perfect for the role imo. Him and Eddie shouldve just made another Life movie,or some other comedy duo film.

At the time BB came out, Martin needed to do a few more flicks to be a bona fide actor like Eddie was to be able to hold his own. Otherwise, Eddie would have totally overshadowed him.I wouldn't have been mad at it. Life is a classic. And those 2 in a Bad Boys movie would've been too
