Its still top 3 alltime black sitcoms, but its support cast was weaker than the others.

Pam was nice eye candy but her jabs at Martin were wack and she got on my nerves with her hating.
Cole was hit or miss.
Gina was so fukking corny and was even cornier when she tried to act like Martin.
However, Tommy was cool, and bruhman is one of the GOATs.

When you compare it to other classic black sitcoms( i dont watch white shows) the supporting cast was lacking.

Fresh Prince you had Geofrrey, Jazz, Carlton and Uncle Phil

Wayans Bros you had Pops, Dupree, TC, White Mike, D
Plus you had two stars and both were funny as hell

Co sign ? :takedat:
Bruh, let me skool you right quick.
Cole was cockroach from The Cosby Show, Theo's boy. His stupidity on both shows stuck out in a positive way. He wasn't a bad character.
And his life problems on the show were hilarious. The shyt he'd have to deal with when he was with Big Shirley is classic.

Tommy Smalls got his throat cut in Harlem Nights, had the same name, same laugh. Probably the same job :leon: He later got with Pam showing his boss moves when booty is around (Got da drawz dawg)

Gina & Martin. Well, what made them so special? It was a continuation of this

I hate it when non scholars of black excellence try to drop opinions on black excellence subject matter :beli:

You was almost correct, it was actually Tommy Strawn :leon:
Thomas Mikal Ford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But since his name was smalls in Harlem Nights, I always thought for some odd reason that was his name on Martin too.
I even found a few sites and youtube videos that said the same thing :manny:

His acting range is very limited tho. He needs to do commericals, cuz his laugh is... I don't know, special? Like, he should be doing fabric softener commercials where he just laughs. I'd buy it :hula:

I think Family matter had overall the best cast when it comes to black sitcoms.

Love that show. It's weird how nobody ever talks about it on here.

Anyways, I agree Pam wasn't very funny, but I disagree about Gina being corny. She was the second funniest main character on the show IMO.

Aside from the first season or two, Family Matters is one of worst sitcoms of all time :comeon:

:wtf:

Are you high? They dropped people all the time from family matters? The mom, Aunt Rachel and the younger sister. The only consistent star was Urkel, Carl and Eddie.

The mom didn't leave until the last 10 or so episodes of the series, Aunt Rachel was whack and Judy served no purpose.

Prime of the show was when they had Urkel, Eddie, Carl, Laura and Harriet with occasional appearances from Waldo.
