Nah. Marshawn should roasted because this is dumb as shyt especially reading the details, but Ruggs killed someone. That part fukking matters in a real ass way. It ain't grandstanding if people are angry when he was going 150 mph down the strip and caused someone's daughter to be burned alive in a car.
The outrage can be turned up a bit extra if one ends in death and the other ends in an arrest with no death.

They're both outrageously stupid, selfish, entitled acts. If I walk around waving a pistol with the safety off and in one situation my finger didn’t slip on the trigger and accidentally shoot someone but in another situation it did, the stupidity of the second situation doesn’t absolve me of the stupidity of the first one. We have no idea if Lynch came close to clipping someone on the road, skipping a curb, or veering off into oncoming traffic and was just lucky enough to not end up in a vehicular manslaughter situation.
If you get behind the wheel of a vehicle inebriated and you're driving it to the point that you get arrested, you're doing nothing less than brandishing a gigantic weapon in public. There's no debating that.
I acknowledge that you say he should be roasted. Thankfully no one got hurt, but at the same time don't downplay the absolute selfish and stupid decision to be a drunk driver from a so-called adult.

Getting multiple DUIs should result in your drivers license being suspended for at least a decade. There's no excuse for a second offense. Hell one offense should be punished more. I fukk with Marshawn so this is very disappointing.

driving drunk is absolutely reprehensible but yes folks will be even more outraged if it results in an immediate death
there’s a difference between running a stop sign and running a stop sign and (god forbid) killing a child on a bike…it just is…that’s why one will come with far more serious charges than the other…bcuz it’s just fukking different…not bcuz someone necessarily “likes” one person more…the end…what an absurd argument smh

And to take it one step further, it would be nice if this was the eye-opener for grown people to stop the celebrity / athlete / politician worshipping and blind defending. Admire them for their work within their field, but leave it there and stop vouching for these people's characters as if they know them personally. Grow up, making heroes out of celebrities is child's play. Most of them wouldn't stop to piss on you if they saw you on fire.
Unfortunately some people just hate to learn so it's not something I'm expecting
