this thread should have waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more pages

flick is great if you dig the genre, otherwise you will not be entertained

wasn't aware that scarjo can ACTUALLY act instead of just saying lines in movies
I've been a fan of hers since Lost in Translation and Match Point. She's a genuinely good actress.

Really great movie.

Reinforces my feelings on not ever wanting to get married :blessed:

A whole lotta good acting.
Homely ass tall dude killed it. The 3 movies Ive seen him in hes been really good in all of them.:ehh:
Ole girl who used to be fine, Scarlett, was eye watering her ass off this entire flick :ehh:
That scene with the lady coming to watch him and his illiterate ass kid was funny af. Most awkward shyt ive seen in a minute :mjlol:
Them lawyers boooooyy :wow: scum of the earf....but rich scum :whew:

I thought it was gonna be a wack movie but it was actually really great and worth the praise.

Loved this movie, but fukk is it emotionally bruising. ScarJo is great and Driver is GREAT. His best performance to cap a decade full of great ones. Sitting here alone tearing up several times. That first moment when SJ walks out of the room, leaving Driver to the couch, had me instantly :sadcam: just like her character.

I won't argue with anyone who found it too saccharine or sentimental, but it worked for me. How he wound up with the note is probably a little word, but the son reading out loud, and just how it cemented one of the major themes of the movie (loving someone you often find yourself hating) just really, really worked for me.
