Except that the ratings have been nose diving for years and attendance is down. And that's due to the completely trash product. People have been walking away from the product for the longest. But due to the state of TV rights at the moment, they've still found a way to get a good deal, despite the fact the product is completely cold and they're basically irrelevant in pop culture.
They didn't get the billi from Fox because of Roman Reigns.
They got a good deal because a lot of people watch the shows every week, what do you mean? Lowered ratings and attendance are irrelevant if they still pack a lot of houses and a large number of faithfuls are consistently watching every week. Add up the merch money and Network subs, they've been making more money than ever. The numbers clearly show business is booming, because a lot of people enjoy and desire the brand. So then to Vince and co, why try to fix something that isn't broken at all?
Also this being relevant in pop culture thing is so antiquated when to the company, social media trends + occasional pop culture shoutouts and memes + crossover names like Ronda Rousey and John Cena is probably more than enough visibility
