It’s amazing the lengths they go to make him seem like he’s not a big deal.
If a movie sucks, the studio loses money which forces change from the studio
If a TV show sucks, it'll lose viewership and get cancelled which forces change from the execs
If a sports team sucks, attendance suffers and profit isn't maximized which forces change from ownership
If an album sucks or is poorly promoted, marketed, and released, sales suffer which forces change from the artist and/or label
When WWE sucks, they still make more or the same money as they did before so there's no reason to change anything. This is why the fanbase is as much a cause of the shytty product as the writers/producers/Vince themselves, since A. kids will like the show regardless and their parents give a lot of money to support the company, and B. dumbass hardcore fans keep giving their money, attention, and ratings to the company while hating the product they put out, yet are incensed when the show is consistently shytty week in and week out
Except that the ratings have been nose diving for years and attendance is down. And that's due to the completely trash product. People have been walking away from the product for the longest. But due to the state of TV rights at the moment, they've still found a way to get a good deal, despite the fact the product is completely cold and they're basically irrelevant in pop culture.
They didn't get the billi from Fox because of Roman Reigns.

What I’d like to know is how they got so big a deal with their audience consistently shrinking for nearly 20 years straight now.
I tend to see children rocking Roman's stuff when I do see audience members wearing it. Same with Cena.

Roman's on TV more than anyone else and he's the main character of the show, plus the moms all have the hots for him, so that means that when they take their little kids to the show, they buy their kids Roman Reigns gear.
How this is somehow supposed to make the marks "kill themselves", when this is exactly what they complain about in regards to Cena and now Roman is beyond me.

Unless you think The Shield only reunited for one night, it's going to take three of the WWE's top guys to hold him off. If he can't survive that and needs to stay squashing people in matches where his opponents have to nearly kill themselves in order to stay viable, then what does that really say for him?

Braun is dead. Lesnar beat him so bad he couldn’t recover to be a factor in summerslam. Roman is mocking him on Twitter now. The shield is going against Drew and Dolph that’s why they reunited. Braun is now a joke . Believe that.
Braun looking weak against Brock is just how it is for everyone — including Reigns, who only finally managed to beat him, after all the bull shyt about how overcoming Brock was something that would make or break him forever, because he was distracted. Lesnar and how they book him, even when he’s leaving for an undetermined amount of time, is a cancer to the entire product. Believe that.
Braun and Reigns went back and forth on Twitter because they’re in a feud. They’re both looking lame as fukk with how soft they’re going too.
The Shield didn’t reunite because of Ziggler and Drew.
They came back together, full gear, because Reigns needed them to fend off Braun. If Seth and Dean have a tag match together (like they’ve done plenty of times not under The Shield name, same as how Reigns used to regularly tag with Dean not under it) that doesn’t change the overall obvious angle.
