People who are anti-90s use him to say how could someone his stature “survive” the overhyped brutish nature of 90s NBA ball in response to clowns denigrate today’s players saying “tHEy cOuLDnT hAVe sUrVIVeD iN dA 90s”
I really wish some of you guys have the same energy to bash idiots who say that someone couldn’t have survived in the 90s garbage the way many of you feel that so many 90s players of being attacked
Let’s be real here. A lot of people make the 90s out to be that players had to wear Kevlar in order to survive. It’s ridiculous. Don’t downplay it. It may not be as bad in the Coli but good Lord… The general NBA fan stays stuck on that bullshyt.nobody thinks the 90’s were mma wars it was obviously more physical but mainly the Knicks continuing the pistons bullshyt.Muggsy bogues was the same size as phife dawg & averaged double digits , Mookie blaylock,Abdul rauf, price, kj were all 6’0-6’1
Steve smith & penny were some of the 1st big pg’s back then so if all those little dudes could play then of course these current cats could
There’s nothing athletic about this 165 pound math teacher. The problem with today’s game is the lack of fundamentals. These newer kids look at someone like price and think he couldn’t play, but he was a consummate point guard with underrated athleticism (athleticism isn’t just hops).
Shut up you silly gimmick faggit. Zero dapsMJ stans are forced to hype up Great Value Peyton Pritchard. That’s what happens when you play in the ‘90s.

If Mark Price were making all-star teams in this era, every single MJ stan on this board would say he wouldn’t survive in the ‘90s.
Apparently 6’3” Steph wouldn’t survive in an era filled with scrawny 5’11” PGs.
“Back in my day we played with fundamentals and put our pants on one leg at a time”.There’s nothing athletic about this 165 pound math teacher.

He averaged 19.6 points a game once while taking 15 shots a game. The league average ppg was 107 and the pace was 98.3. The pace this year was 98.5. Y’all mutherfukkers kill me. Sounding like some old ass men in loafers telling brehs to pull they pants up and how back in your day you averaged a triple double@Toussaint WHATS FUNNY?
HE AVERAGED 20 PPG ON A TEAM THAT BARELY PUT UP 100 POINTS WHILE ONLY ATTEMPTING 3 THREES A GAME AT A 44% CLIP
WIT THE WAY HE SHOT THE BALL, HE WOULD DEF BE PUTTIN UP STEPH TYPE NUMBERS IN A LEAGUE THAT PRIORITIZES SCORING FROM THREE VIA IMMACULATE SPACING AND NO HAND CHECKING
IF U THINK THATS SOME KIND OF A JOKE THEN U DONT UNDERSTAND THE GAME
Just because he is a lesser player than curry doesnt mean he was average. He averaged 19.6 points a game once while taking 15 shots a game. The league average ppg was 107 and the pace was 98.3. Mark Price best season was Curry’s worst (non-injured) lol.
Some type of knee injuryWhat type of injury did KJ have that made him go from 20 and 9 to 10 and 5 the following season? Then he was out the league 2 years later.

Another impressive thing is that he had some of his most impressive seasons after tearing his ACL. Him and Tim Hardaway both were all-NBA first team after tearing their ACLs.
Recoveries from ACL injuries generally weren’t as strong as they are now.
But unfortunately Price had other injuries which ended his career
