It was a cop out, dude. He chose to go that silly ass time machine route instead of really going in. Nothing went over my head.

Suck it off if you want, tho. :yeshrug:

It did tho, because another part of white privilege... is that it takes white people...to get other white people to understand white privilege...because they fit the correct aesthetic.

There were many levels to this joke, and you missed one of the most important ones.

This joke went WAY over your head breh... you've really overthought the joke, and missed EVERYTHING:heh:

using a time machine to talk about white privilege to an audience of CAC's is fukking brilliant.

what makes the joke really work, is that the premise of the joke is implied/inferred....one does not need to go into detail to get what he's talking about, because the audience is smart enough to know what he's talking about.

you're really trying to hard to make the joke NOT work....when it clearly does, and is an easy way to get white people, to understand white privilege.....it's presented in the capacity it is, because white people in general....do not understand the concept of white privilege.

Its not about white privilege to White folks, its about the survival of the fittest.

When people say they stole land from the Indians they don't give 2 shiits because they know they don't have to care. So you can imagine their animosity that they have to care about slavery or the black struggle.

To apex predators the strong conquers, pillage, and plunder. This is why rednecks on welfare loves the 1%, because they represent what they love about America. Talk of oppression is always going to go way over their heads, because it clashes with their basic philosophy.

It will always be about power, not this kumbaya stuff blacks want from whites & America.

Btw, it was a good joke.

Again, I didn't miss a damn thing. Suck it off if you want, but don't insult me.

He had a chance to really address white privilege, instead he copped out.

Duke is a comedian breh, not a political activist. What you looking for a speech? :heh:Joke was concise & clearly resonated the point without it being contrived or a sermon or some shyt. Most importantly it was funny.

No, I stated pretty clearly that I was expecting jokes that addressed their real privileged in the present, not some time travel nonsense. :camby:

Yeah I wouldn't call his comments good, IMO they were needlessly honest given the current climate. He said what everyone knows is true about how a lot if not most white people feel about unfamiliar young black males but he should be cognizant of the fact that low IQ types like the ones that frequent message boards like this would be all over it.

I'm :mjlol:and :snoop: at the same time at some of the reactions. I hope these niccas ain't adults:merchant:

So you think the historical context of white privilege is nonsense? Plus you acting like that one joke encompasses his whole discourse on the topic. You criticizing what's not being talked about in one particular joke?

Not to worry....@carlosHuerta is here to tell us that Cuban is right.

I guess a woman that sees a pack of men and crosses the street possess some sort of sexism. A person who sees a dog and crosses the street is an animal hater.

I swear, people are simple and dumb. All this to support a poorly thought opinion by someone looking to exonerate Donald Sterling.

If you know anything about Mark Cuban is that he certainly doesn't share the typical viewpoint/mentality of others in his tier...or whatever you want to call it. He's not a silver spooned breaded billionaire who hung around rich folks all of his life. This is unfair.
What is unfair? You think not being born rich somehow absolves Cuban from being a white dude stupid enough to tacitly approves a Donald Sterling type in a lame attempt to turn situational awareness into prejudice?

Lol. Not surprised. With that dumb ass thought process, woman crossing.the.street from a pack of men makes her prejudiced and a bigot looking at the dumb ass rational Cuban used and you obviously agree with.

Yeah....you WOULD BE the one saying it's not fair to Mark while ignoring how unfair his comments are towards black people

Just stupidity all around.

Question for those offended by Cuban's comments - where exactly do you draw the line? It's common knowledge that white people have a fear of black men. That shouldn't surprise you. Is it just the simple utterance that is offending?

Cuban's comments are wrong in the sense that he's using it to somehow justify Sterling's transgressions. However, in a vacuum, I don't see why stating the obvious (that a white man could be afraid of a black man) is offensive, considering you all know this to be true.

:rudy:

Yeah, that's exactly what I've been saying.
