well to be fair, I think there's only so much the president can do. there's federal laws on the books. I'm not sure exactly how the process works, but I'm pretty sure it's not solely up to the president

I mean, Wall Street crimes and Torture are FEDERAL crimes as well, but for some odd reason we didn't see the Justice Department investigate or prosecute these things.
that just an appeal to consistency. if they choose to break certain laws, for whatever reason, that doesn't mean they're obligated to break every law
and things like NDAA had to go through a process. it wasn't just Obama waving a magic wand

I'm talking about torturing and Wall Street Crimes. The Justice Department deliberately decided not to investigate and prosecute those things, yet they choose to go after Cannabis users.
