Everyone is wrong. She didn't do a sound check or run through, and her earpiece wasn't in sync. All of this is what caused her horrible performance. She wasn't being professional before the actual show.

My sis went to see her show in Vegas. She came back like she was a 7 year old who was told Santa wasn't real. She was that disappointed.so she was clearly lip syncing the song before and song after. she slipped up a few times and it became obvious she wasn't singing at all on both of those two, probably because she was drunk.
she didn't do shyt on emotions because there was no backing track. she didn't forget the words, she just can't sing anymore. she decided to just walk around stage talking shyt and not giving a fukk, again because she was drunk as fukk.
that's my observations. basically she doesn't really have her voice anymore and she is likely an alcoholic. those two things are probably be related too.

What I don't get is how hard could it be to fix the problem with the sound last night? And there is something to be said about taking care of your voice, Prince (R.I.P.) had been singing and performing way longer than Mariah and before he died he still had his voice.
