I hope Everson Walls(up for HOF now and should get in) gives him a talk. Everson was the 2nd best CB of the 80s and all people remember is "The Catch" but not that he was a rookie and picked off Montana twice that game that kept the Cowboys in it. Learning moment

Walls was on that 1990 Giants team that ended the 49ers dynasty so what comes around can go around if he plays well.

The angle he took set him up to make the tackle and keep Diggs in bounds.

His head being down caused all the trouble.

I think he came in too fast and tried to dodge contact with the WR because he thought the ball sailed over Diggs head.

wrote it in the other thread, I'll paste it here too.

New Orleans Saints Marcus Williams last tackle was weak. But, If you watch it closely, instead of the receiver's catch, it seems to be an obviously poorly timed tackle and just bad in technique. I think the deeper question is, why?
1. He was paid off by Vegas bookies to blow the play.

feasible. he let it get to the point there was one snap left, the saints o line had to hold up, keenum had to make an accurate throw, diggs had to catch it and toe the sideline just so he could miss the tackle and hope no one caught him on the way to the end zone because someone paid him to lose the game :dead:

He had a good season, if he uses this we might have one of the best safeties in the League
:salute:

never know, i liked him quite a bit coming out. had a nice rookie year, and a pick in that game that no one will remember. hes got talent ill just never understand why he chose to do what he did. it was so strange

don’t forget the Vegas bookies knew beforehand that HE would be the one impact the results of the game on the final play.
