shyt like this really shows Floyd's greatness, dudes are clamoring for a rematch in a fight where he only lost 4 rounds. :wow:

I may shyt on Floyd stans when they go overboard with their stanning but we are witnessing an incredible career.

dat boy sounding like a hoe
real amir khan-ish

he better holla at khan and see what he up to
he also need to stop acting like he dont owe broner rematch

in reality, we all no floyd vs maidana 2 is gonna have a referee dat wont allow maidana to cheat (by floyds request)
therefore it will be a onesided beating

Maidana is sitting in the cat bird seat because of the difficulty he gave Floyd and the dearth of opponents that Floyd has that are PPV worthy match-ups.
I am pretty much 99.9% sure that Floyd/Maidana will be happening in September.

I'm thinking the same. I mean who's within Floyd's weight range that would be a good fight in September? Porter? No name. Thurman? No name. Khan? Has a name, but can't fight in September for religious concerns. The only other possible I see is depending on what happens with Lara/Canelo. I think Lara is going to beat Canelo, but if that doesn't happen, we might get Canelo/Mayweather II. Other than that, there's no other reason I can see being valid to prevent a Maidana rematch other than he's dirty as hell. A lot of that fight was anything but boxing.

The Lara/Canelo fight is in July though. Too close to September, so that's not an option

Danny Garcia?

I though of him right before posting, but decided not to edit. When is he officially going to 147? Even so, I gotta be honest breh, his last performance, wasn't all that spectacular, even a little bit suspect. I've never bought entirely into him being elite or even on the verge of greatness. He surprised me beating Matthysse, and he was getting slaughtered prior to catching Khan in an exchange. That said, Floyd keeps him in the middle of the ring and slaughters him. Still, we're discussing potential fights for Floyd and not what Floyd would do to them. I'm not convinced Garcia's name is that much ahead of Porter, Thurman, and Lara. There is one thing that makes me think it's possible, and it's that Mayweather and his people have expressed interest in working with Barclays. That would be a nice event for NY if Garcia and Floyd mixed it up there. Plus Garcia is of Puerto Rican descent. That could make for a nice event.
