Ok I'mma start it this weekend. These critics hating on the show might be on a rivals payroll. If Netflix has another hit on their hands its gonna make alot of traditional networks mad as f*ck

I'm about 4 episodes in, and I don't understand why the reviews are so negative. It's kind of like "The Vikings", with Kung Fu.
I also don't understand the Game of Thrones comparisons. Its doesn't remind me of GoT AT ALL.

The reviews are terrible. 47 on metacritic, with the highest rating being 67

I'm going to give it another shot. Watched 3 eps but it didn't really catch my attention but I was browsing on my iPad. I'll watch with no distractions next time

i was surprised at how horrible the reviews are, im not gonna lie the reviews turned me off but I'll give it a go eventually
So I finished the series yesterday.
It's actually pretty good.
Is it as good as Game of Thrones or House of Cards?
No.
But they did start laying the groundwork behind some double crosses toward the end.
I'm just a bit disappointed that the guy who plays Marco Polo isn't a more magnetic character/actor.
You find yourself way more interested in Kublai Khan and the blind monk, Hundred Eyes (whose fight scenes are AWESOME).
IMDB rates it at 8.5 so the people who are giving this series bad reviews are probably just haters who prefer or support HBO or Showtime...or other series.
I think anyone who watches it kind of enjoys what's going on.
Asian women are not my thing, but some of the naked asian whores in this show are

I dont know if its the acting or writing but everybody around him is way more interesting

Kahn,Hundred eyes,the b*stard,and the chancellor are all good characters too
The fake princess and the warrior chick are also dope
The show would be alot better if they would focus on different characters each episode like Game of Thrones instead of every episode being centered around Marco
