Marc Lamont Hill opened up a bookstore/coffee shop right in the middle of the hood

Please tell me about the hood cac, and why these bookstores won't work in the hood.

First off, I'm a black male.

Second of all, businesses work or they don't. MLH is gonna need more than a book store to make a dent in the neighborhood.

We can disagree on certain issues but as long as we’re all invested in our community it should be all gravy at the end of the day

I notice a lot less black men being hostile towards each other in this city the last few years. I can only speak for myself but I’m glad to notice that. I’m in Mt.Airy
