People need go realize that LAWS in the Bible were later changed because of it's negativity. Slavery law was changed, gays were no longer to be stoned, incest was no longer tolerated, etc. so read the Old AND New Testaments.

Stoning wasn't only subjected to gays, it was for everyone who went against cultural laws. Murders, rapist and adulterers were stoned. So don't make it seem like it's ONLY gays that were stoned. Being gay is a sin and if one doesn't repent then they were most likely stoned. But like I said those were their cultural laws, which isn't practiced by Christians today.

According to the Bible the laws in the Old Testament came straight from God. If God himself didnt come back and say to disregard them shyts then how can man override them?

Its pretty disturbing to me that this line of logic is so often used by black folks mad at the civil rights comparison to gay folks. So its different because they can hide that they're gay? Is that what we should be encouraging, fukk rights and equality, you can just hide who you are and be happy? Like, you think your Great Grandmother would have been happy hiding her blackness if she was able to?

Nah, what's disturbing is people trying to draw comparisons between the two, considering millions of black people died in the middle passage long before any civil rights movement. It's an insult to any of my relatives who were viewed as property to have their struggle lessened like this, something that is still affecting us to this day. Yes, they can hide if they chose to, that is a huge difference. Sorry, some of my ancestors were more than likely lynched and murdered because of what they were, not because of what they were fukking.


At the end of the day, gay people have to tell you what they are for you to know, or you have to see them with their partner, unless of course they are "flaming". My great grandmother never had the option, she was treated like less than human because of what she was down to her core, not something as fukking trivial as sexuality. I don't even have to say my great grandmother, my grandmother emigrated to Harlem after she was born and didn't leave it until she went to an HBCU in the south, mainly because it was one of the few places she felt safe.

The average gay white male still has more freedom and a higher ceiling than the average black person, yet Im supposed to be ok with them trying to compare their "plight" to something that started 400+ years ago, that resulted in the loss of MILLIONS of black people and had my ancestors treated like sub-humans until the 60s??????

I find it ironic that you tell people they should read more books, because if you were privy to any sort of decent information you would know that on April the 14th 2003, with the help of Baylor University, the Max Planck Institute, the Sanger Institute, Washington University in St. Louis the "human genome project" was completed and transcribed.

In short; During their analysis they had to map out the entire base chromosome sequence (both x and y) and find a "gay gene", and in both sequences there was no "gay gene" at all, nothing of the sort.

And as far as your structural argument, im sure your refering Simon Le'vey experiment and his study of homosexual/heterosexual brain frontal lobes.

Apart from the fact that the samples of the experiment were not subjected to any proper form of controll, the procedure he used to measure nueron clusters was flawed and the scientific community pretty much refers to him as a mock scientist, Le'vy himself spoke on the limits of his results. Here is a quote from the man himself:

"It’s important to stress what I didn’t find. I did not prove that homosexuality is genetic, or find a genetic cause for being gay. I didn’t show that gay men are born that way, the most common mistake people make in interpreting my work. Nor did I locate a gay center in the brain (as quoted in Byrd, et al., 2001, emp. added)."

There is no gay gene, no one is "born gay". Homosexuality and every other form of sexual perversion are phenotypes, results of environmental stimuli. Stop spreading misinformation, and stop comparing a behavioral defect to our civil right struggle, it's incredibly disrespectful.
