He really aint even that technically sound
:why:
Next time you gonna say he can't punch straight or what? I mean I can see you don't like the guy but c'mon, give credit where it's due. Literally every top boxers, managers, promoters, journalists, etc... I've seen talking about his skills are giving him props, even the ones who are questioning his resume at he same time. Fortunately I'm always reminded on here that all that is BS and he isn't even that good :mjlol:

Bro he doesn't have proper form on his punches especially them wide looping ass hooks. I don't care what the media has to say, I been trained to throw a proper punch, just because y'all refuse to see the plethora of flaws he has doesn't mean I will ignore them.

nah give me a break about the media talk, it's not like he would be just some media darling and everybody else would shyt on him, well established pro fighters praise his ability including the likes of Ward or Mayweather. Crawford being rated in the P4P top 5 all over the board isn't some coincidence either, they think he is good, very good. It's probably not everybody else that drives the wrong way in traffic here. But hey, we will see eventually

The same way they was wrong and turned on GGG, they will do the same to Crawford.

Wrong about GGG? Golovkin is a certified HOF-er and he gave Canelo all he could handle. I prefer Canelo personally and I had Canelo winning the second fight but make no mistake, getting by GGG was not an easy task for him and Golovkin proved that he's on that level winning or losing.

At a time the GGG hype was deafening (definitely bigger than the hype around Bud btw like it's not even comparble or even bigger than around Loma) and his casual fans on social media + his team (Wario, Loaffler) were annoying as fukk but just because he wasn't THAT good as his fans thought, like he wasn't on the Maywather or Pac "creme de la creme" level... he's still a certified HOF-er, probably first ballotter at that with a great career behind his back. So I don't agree that they were necessarily "wrong" about him.

I cirticized him in the past and even now when he pulls things like sticking to that fukking Szeremeta fight for some reason over Canelo III but that's one thing, acknowledging his skills and his career achievements is another. I always though he is beatable but he was a legit high level monster in his prime.

Crawford loves to scrap, in a lot of cases thats a negative for fighters, for him its a star attribute. He invites drama, he feeds off the energy of a scrap.

He's doesn't perfect technique, but he will break you mentally and then fukk you all the way up, all the while his chin up in the air like he don't give a fukk.

I’m taking Bud... but you can never count Manny out... shyt imagine if Manny were to take another undefeated Welterweight Champions Zero... like he’s already an ATG .... the discussion for his career if he were to clean up this generation of 147 pounders being nearly a decade older than all of them(which I don’t see happening) would be

He's technically sound but he allows for too many mistakes that would be deadly against Spence. If Mean Machine can openly pop him...Benavidez? Then Spence will light you up...

Which leaves Porter, Brook, or Ugas for Crawford to fight. All good match ups.

Which makes him vs Pacquiao an epic scrap. Both fighting spirits are about even.

ARUM SAYS PACQUIAO IS READY TO GO AGAINST CRAWFORD

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum, in an exclusive interview with Philboxing contributor Peter Maniatis, said that eight-division world champion and the current WBA welterweight super champion Manny Pacquiao is ready to face WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford in a unification fight.

“I've talked to Manny via Zoom, first time I talked to him face to face in a while, Manny was getting ready to go bed, it was morning in California, and he is ready to go [against Crawford],” Arum said in the Maniatis interview.

“Manny is ready to do that fight and we'll try to do that out of the [United States],” Arum added.

With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that knocked down the the sports industry all over the world and drastically changed people's lives and lifestyles, Arum would be hard pressed to find a suitable venue for such a mega-fight.

Arum also said that Pacquiao wants the Crawford fight to happen within the year. “Manny wants the fight to happen this year because he's running for political office next year, for the presidency,” Arum said.

The Philippine presidential election would not happen until May, 2022. So if Pacquiao is indeed running for the Philippines' highest office, he'll probably use next year to start his preparations.

Pacquiao has been rumored to face, among others, Conor McGregor, Mikey Garcia, Danny Garcia and Errol Spence even before the pandemic came. Ditto with the long sought rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. This time however it seems the hottest talk of the hour is a fight against Crawford. Let's see how it goes.

Pacquiao and Crawford were both under Arum's Top Rank banner for many years until Pacquiao signed with rival promoter Al Haymon of Premier Boxing Champions to fight Adrien Broner in January and then Keith Thurman in July, all of last year.

Crawford, 32, undefeated with 36 wins, 27 inside the distance, is one of boxing's top pound for pound fighters but who is still looking for that highly recognizable name to beat to propel him to real boxing superstardom. There are two names that fit the bill: Pacquiao and Spence. Crawford claimed he's been pursuing a Pacquiao fight since 2017 while a Spence fight had been difficult to make because of the not so cordial relationship between Arum and Haymon.

Pacquiao, 41, who had been believed to be on the verged of retirement many times only to come back each time to surprise everyone with scintillating wins against top caliber and much younger opponents, shows, even at his advance age, that he is not afraid to face anyone, even against the world's top pound for pound fighters. This only adds to the Pacquiao mystique and to his legendary boxing career that now span for more than a quarter of a century.

Why this ass hole just didn’t let them fight when they both was under his umbrella
