They hired Tony Brothers to make the series longer and they still lost. It's over.

shyt is 2017 or 2015 bad when nothing was worth watching in conference finals. I thought the league has parity, yet conference finals suck like it's Bron Cavs and Curry Warriors all over again :russ:

Sounds like you haven't actually been watching the games and have just been looking at box scores :mjlol:

Because if you were watching you would know every game in the Mavs/Wolves series has been close, the first two were literally decided in the final possessions of the game :mjlol: game 3 was close until the last minute :mjlol:.

Minnesota be making too many boneheaded plays down the stretch. If they can somehow clean that up, who knows. Bricking threes in unnecessary three moments, turnovers, etc. they literally could be the ones up 3-0, man they trippin. I’m saying again they’ll probably get the next one to keep it interesting but it may be over. I’m sure they don’t want two sweeps in the conference finals lol

Last year's champs lost in the 2nd round in a 7-game series.

And needed two game-winners to beat a play-in team in the first round.

The team that beat the champs is down in the WCF right now.

The team winning the WCF didn't have an easy time with the Thunder.

And they probably wouldn't even have made it past the 1st round if Kawhi didn't get hurt.

Nuggets, Mavs, Timberwolves, Thunder, Lakers, and Clippers (healthy).....that's 6 squads in the West who could have given anyone trouble. There was a lot of parity this year.

You're taking the comment too serious. I watched the games, felt disappointed cause it's over after 3 games and made a joking comment about it. I thought it would be a great 6-7 game series. It don't matter if you win by point or 20 points. A win is a win, nobody gives you award for staying close in the games.

Luka and Kyrie are balling. Elite scoring with clutch genes, made guys like Edwards exhausted. Good luck to Timberwolves next year. Hopefully those guys work more on conditioning for next year.

Above the fray.
Mavs missed the playoffs with Luka and Kyrie. What they did is apparently they made excellent complementary piece trades. Sort of what they did with Dirk Mavs when they finally gave him more defensive guys like Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marion, etc.
Yep. They realized what Dirk's strengths and weaknesses were as a scorer, and they built a complete team that complemented his talents.

Heady versatile defenders like Kidd, Marion, and Chandler and LIGHTS out shooter like Terry.

To his credit, Coach Kidd has integrated the new guys into the system and made great decisions and subs.

I didn't see it working out with Kyrie and Luka, and if they win ring will have to walk that back.
