Hells Paradise Vol 10

Shugen is a case where one mans ideals and with him his way of order can lowkey make him a villian. As mentioned dude believes in nothing more, but justice. Him killing Fuchi as expected showcases that he isn't flexible. And if you don't share his beliefs he will elimante you. Dude has more mental issues then any of the criminials and feels like a villain. Jikka seems to be the only clearly doesn't have the same mindset as Shugen. Everyone else is clearly blindly following his orders which again he is blindly following his beliefs.

On the other-side Gambimaru The Hollow being a code name and not his name is actually pretty interesting. Basically designates the strongest in his group. Tho it still is weird they need the successor to kill him if they were fine with him dying by an Executioner hands. Still need to understand more rearding his clan.

Nayuta, even in a presumably weaker state based on age and maturity, is still fundamentally broken power wise. It's insane actually what she just did to War.
Man I just want more stuff regarding Nayuta. The focus about to be back on Asa. Man part two has been hella mid :unimpressed:

At least in part one we had Denji and Power and their antics so it wasn't completely dull. This bytch is uninteresting and I am waiting for her to die.

Kind of expected both would feel too awkward in the present to talk to each other. Tho it's good we get to see both of their thoughts. Also curious what happens when one falls asleep in the dream.

Kind of not surprising but Jikka is unhinged in his own way. Unlike Shugen he is actually looking out for himself. Although you can tell if something aint to his benefit so won't be up for it. Isuzu and Kiyomaru blind loyalty makes sense, but at some point they should realize Shugen has ideals that aren't irrational.

Gambiru about to go unhinged next chapter. :demonic:

Blue Box Ch 89

Pretty mid chapter. Still the stuff with Taki's mom saying she should be appreciated was the only part I liked about this chapter. Tho there isn't much to go on with the Chi Yumeka convo to mention about.

Only 12 chapters left. Need a break or I might suffer a mental breakdown.

:damn:

Kind of figured Shugen would have some extra OP shyt. Dude can just switch between taos :dahell: . As strong as he is, he really do be mentally ill.

Mei :mjcry: . No words to be said. She was brought down by Rien only for Gambiru and Sagiri to lift her back up and give her confidence. She may have been small for most of the series. But her contribution and her heart was easily the one of the best if not the best in the group.

Love the development with Gangetsu. He understands the gift that Fuchi gave to him. Unlike Shugen who killed his fellow friend because of his ideals. Which in reality makes Shugen the true evil not Gangetsu.

Just finished Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. Damn this was great from start to finish. :wow:
Great characters, great development, an interesting setting, great art and a very satisfying finish to it. Plus it being 128 chapters gives it a good length. Imo Shugen and Jikka prob needed more focus and time, but meh it is not a big deal imo. Similar to Mob Psycho it is better get to a good point and end it on a great point rather then having it overstaying its welcome and leaving a bad taste in the reader's mouths. Just like Mob it is a classic.

You have Gabimaru and his mission to return to Yui's side. The way it shows his motivation is great. Where he is fukked up in ways, but he never was dislikable. Great lead.
Sagiri really shines as well. Going from a stubborn play by the rules someone that opened her heart to those she thought she couldn't before. She grew stronger both mentally and most likely physical by accepting her weakness.
Mei is a character you just want to root for. She went from a scared girl running from her past. But from Gabimaru she was able to build confidence and having Sagiri as that someone who was always with her in the second half of the story.
Yuzuriha is an interesting character. Easily the most fun character among the group. But you see she puts a mask around everybody else. Having lost her sister and trying to live her life for the both of them adds good depth to her.
The Aza brothers turned out great and I wasn't expecting that. Chou was an awful person, but he was an amazing brother. It did a great job at building the relationship. Because throughout the story it is clear that for Chou Touma was always priority number one.
Gangetsu went from a meat head fighter to someone that values his own life. Seeing Shugen kill Fuchi was the thing that really launched him into realize the importance of his life. Shugen killed Fuchi his fellow comrade. And Fuchi could have let Shugen kill Gangetsu, but choose to defend him. If this sequence didn't have him I doubt he would have jump out of the fight between Shugen and Rien.
Also Rien was def someone who needed more focus, but at the end of the day she just wanted to bring back her dead husband. But at the end of the day she realized killing Gabimaru would put his wife in the same situation as her. When she realized the pain she would be in she gave in. Truly sometimes emotional pain is much more painful then physical pain.

Hopefully it gets a decent adaptation. Don't exactly have the greatest hopes for it. Hope I am wrong.

This is really the only long I wanted to read before next anime season starts. Gonna read Galaxy Next Door next.

Read the first 20 chapters/ 4 volumes of A Galaxy Next Door. It is a pretty good rom-com. It's a very cute series with lots of fluff and charm. Big plus for it is that pacing is actually solid considering how awful pacing is in the romance genre. Each volume is intended to have progress of some form. It doesn't bullshyt you with 100-200 chapters of no progress and things feeling stagnant.

Both the male and female are good which you is a rarity in the genre. Also the supporting cast is very solid as well. It is more fluff then comedy but it has both.

Gonna read Heavenly Delusion next.

Why does it seen like every anime/manga is about being reincarnated now? Murim RPG Simulation is pretty entertaining but they all kind of run together.

I stopped reading manga/manwah for a while but now that I'm following again I'm super bummed that everything seems to be in the webtoon format where 75% of every issue is background art.

Well most of the reincarnation stuff is usually Isekai. Which is 99% light novel source. They just pushing out these adaptations to purely advertise. They don’t give a fukk about a quality of these products.

Isekai and romance are by far the two most popular genres so it makes sense why we see so much series end up being one of these two genres. Even if the quality is anything but good.
