OnK Vol 9

Prob the weakest vol so far. Unlike the arcs where Aqua was front and center, don't get the same with Ruby. Since it puts a bigger focus on the two directors then her. Also the characters are much less interesting comparing to the slower arcs with Aqua. Could be a pacing issue here.

Just caught up with OnK up till ch 106.

This series is easily one of the best running manga series out. Great characters, a story that you are invested, and really good twists. It is not just an Idol series if you think that's what it is. Right next to SxF as one of my favorites. (Only active series I would rank higher is 86 but that is a Light Novel.

I was waiting for you to catch up :wow: it’s my favorite ongoing manga after Grand Blue, Spy X Family is right there with it too

It never fails to keep me invested, and then they hit you with stuff like Chapter 105. I wasn’t expecting that at all

I can’t wait to see what happens as a result of Aqua exposing AI’s secret, it already caused a rift between him and Ruby

2 chs. in Series looks interesting so far. :ehh: . Maybe pacing is a bit fast, altho this could end up being a shorter series, which I wouldn't mind tbh. Naruto comparisons seem inevitable.

They really need to tighten the focus because we already knew that 99% of this Rising Sun mini arc was going to be inconsequential because they don't have the time to flesh it out. So everyone outside 2 people are bushes status, this whole thing has felt really tedious because he didn't really seem to learn anything about his abilities, which was supposed to be the point.

On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, Riboku needs to die expeditiously but I don't know anyone else that can take his place. Tired of this plot device ass nikka,

i been letting bluelock and kingdom get a head a bit before hopping into them again. some of those arcs be too intense for the week to week :damn:

Facts, I just binged the last 5 to get caught up because I'm not going to be trying to consume these battles and strategies on the week to week grind. Low key was still pissed because they're on another cliffhanger with the battle. :snoop:

They restarted Solo Leveling.. basically a continuation from where they ended it.. don’t want to spoil it but it’s 🔥 so far
