Basically this weak and sickly prince from a weak kingdom out in the boonies gets almost assassinated for political reasons. Instead of dying, he goes into a coma.

While in said coma, his soul goes to wherever all that world's legendary heroes souls go, and he gets trained by them for 1000 years.

He comes out of his coma with all of his learned skills and abilities... and a grudge.

:heh: breh... if you're like me, you've been through the manga archives with a fine toothed comb.

I find a buried gem that's like 100+ chapters like once a year.

I think the last one was Yongbi, which was the first manga done by the folks who do Gosu?

The one I WANNA push, but I know it's far Far FAR too much fukkery, crossdressing and lolitraps for the average breh.....

no, there's no sex in it (or even nudity) and everything is played for laughs:

Hero saves the world from the demon lord for the sake of fame, money and the princess.... only to do so and finds out the princess is a dude, so he drops everything and leaves...{there's.... consequences)

only to find out there's no place in a normal world for someone who's only job qualification is "saving the world".... (these aren't those)

so he becomes an otaku shut in.... until one of the Demon Lord's female generals recognizes him (she's in the same predicament he's in and working as a waitress)

and shyt spirals way Way WAAAYYYY outta control.


yeah the premise sounds... yeah.

But I kid you not. (I don't wanna hype it up, but) as far as long term plotting, action, mind fukkery, humor, fukkery, plotting and scheming heroes nobody likes, fukkery, and fukkery, I gotta put it in my top 10. Imagine a brilliant comic book or TV writer pointing and laughing at you while you're :mindblown: at how great the shyt you just saw is.

Only reason I'll NEVER say it needs to be animated is.... hey, it's too much. :francis:

Binge read Berserk over two weeks I was home sick, immediately started rereading it and ordered some of the Deluxe editions.:blessed:

Sprinkling in some Vagabond in there as well, up to about Chapter 30 so far. Pretty good. :gladbron:Matahachi's simping already coming back to bite him :mjlol:

Gonna be stuck in hiatus hell from now on :mjcry:

Also got the box sets for DBZ and Dragon Ball. Haven't read them since I was like 10. :wow:
