My 5 yeAr old beat super Mario bros and super luigi U by himself. He's hLf way through donkey kong tropical freeze which is hard as fukk. When the wife's not around I let him play ghosts and metal gear and he's pretty damn good . I'm teaching them to be competitive and not be a little bytches. He would always start crying at first saying he couldnt beat it and you got damn right all I said was "I'm not beating it for you keep playing and practice. He hated me at first but the look of joy and satisfaction when he conquered that shyt was

What they know no saves, leaving the system on for days and praying no one bumps the console? No its just twitch shooters where the only skill involved is seeing someone first and pressing right trigger to spray.

To be fair, the emergence of COD and the yearly franchise games like FIFA and 2K have given kids less of a reason to be diverse with the games now. They usually just pick up the games that their friends will play online with them.

Having said that, when I was 10-12, I knew the entire move set for about 3 fighters each on Tekken, Soul Calibur & Street Fighter off by heart and I knew Kung Lao & Liu Kang's fatalities off by heart as well so there's no excuse to be totally trash at games.

During my adolescence, since time was much more free then, I made sure I knew the complete movesets of absolutely every character in every fighting game that I played and all the MK fatalities were memorized. I made sure I was a viable threat with whatever character I played.

I can't stand games where you can't die or get infinite continues.

There is no challenge to them games and you don't feel any sense of accomplishment when you beat them

Give me a old school game where you get like 3 lives/continues and you have to start all over from the beginning if you die and I'll play that shyt for hours

Honestly, Nintendo is one of the few companies still making truly great games that still have some degree of difficulty. Games like Donkey Kong Tropical breeze and Super Mario 3D are challenging as fukk!
