The details of the score album for the action adventure The Man With the Iron Fists have been announced. The album features the film’s original score composed by RZA and Howard Drossin. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 25, 2012 by Soul Temple Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips are available after the jump. As previously announced, the label has also announced a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s songs. The Man with the Iron Fists is directed by RZA, presented by Quentin Tarantino, co-written by RZA and Eli Roth and stars Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. Universal Pictures will release the movie on November 2, 2012.

RZA has already signed on to direct his 2nd feature film.

appy! centers on Nick Sax, a scummy corrupt ex-cop and hitman. After a hit goes bad and Sax is left gravely injured, he is suddenly able to see Happy, a cheerful little blue horse who won’t give in to adversity, no matter what unpleasant obstacles come in the way. Days before Christmas, Sax teams up with the saccharine horse to the save the life of a troubled kid and maybe find redemption amid the squalor of his city.

The comic debuted last month from Image Comics with art by Darick Robertson, with the tone and setting being compared to It’s a Wonderful Life, Sin City, and Care Bears.

Happy! initiates the partnership between RZA and Hudlin, which was announced earlier this year at San Diego International Comic-Con. Morrison will be at New York Comic Con, which runs October 11 to 14.

Morrison is known for his best-selling comic writing featuring Batman, Superman and X-Men, recently wrapped up MorrisonCon, a unique comic book convention which he curated. Earlier this year, Morrison was awarded the honor of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen for his services to literature.

I hope this is a good movie man. I love RZA, everything he touches turns to gold, but making and directing a good movie is extremely hard to do.
