yeah you might be right about the spending issue... as far as catching an 'L' however that security dude might feel good about himself now till this footage gets into the hands of walgreens corporate, his bosses at the company that hired him and a hungry lawyer, you might actually change your opinion after I am through with that dude-(Ill be sure to keep everybody posted)

An example has to be set now before all common respect and decency for paying customers is gone in this society cause thats really the issue ( and no I dont think just shopping at another store is necessarily the answer when there aren't that many pharmacies near by)

no one should be treated like that without some repercussions...I mean as a brotha I have to go with my camera everywhere I shop now just to be assured of some quality control...this footage is actually light (as tay roc would say) compared to many previous incidences...some I was able to record (which I may share in the future, especially the post office ones) but many others went unrecorded

its amazing how a rude and disrespectful costumer service rep change their tune once you tell them that you are recording

its a shame that our society has come to that...none the less we need to start establish some form of citizen quality control with all these gadgets and forums we have at our disposal...(rather them use them for not really useful stuff)...so I do want to thank every body for reading and responding...I appreciate every word of encouragement

I think that coupled with corporate write ups and recorded footage like this we may start to actually get quality control back and actually enjoy shopping for a change

whether or not you think I have the answers is one thing but I think fear should not be something that prevents us from demanding better treatment from the places we spend our hard earned cash

the content of this video is light really I mean I've witnessed and had to deal with worst...it wasnt like this...I dont know if its the economy,stress, unprofessionalism or all of the above but I think if we keep letting these things go and not put pressure of these places the fear we should have is for even more ridiculous treatment

You can still be arrested by an off duty officer, but my bigger concern is that this fool is ego -tripping and ends up pulling his weapon. Which he has no right to do, but I'd rather not go through the getting shot part. His professionalism was already in question when he was talking about stickin his foot in his ass and throwing him out. When it gets like that, it's best to go about you business and make the formal complaint in the morning. Because no matter what he captures on video, if he starts to tussle with that cop, he's the one that's going to jail, or worse.

I absolutely think you're right. If you spend money there and you're not being a jagoff, you should be treated with respect.But don't start going nose to nose with a dikkhead with a gun and badge.

two issues about that statement;

1. people usually get arrested for actually committing crimes
2. arrest only happens with consent

there was no crime committed or being committed, no shop lifting, attempted robbery or harassment of other customers...none of that happened

instead of the store addressing their line and cash register policy they choose to let everybody go up to the counter at the same time without having to be called on or the customer ahead to even finish their transaction....its like pigs at the through over there

that fool wanted to kick me out cause I left the line and opted to wait for the customer that had her stuff on the counter to finish her transaction...he wanted to kick me for that and the fact that I would not approach the register until that customer (who was smelling like some homeless crack addict who did not bathe for weeks) to leave....so he got mad at me for that...I told him that the smell was making me sick and that I would wait for her to leave so he started harassing me so I stepped out and pulled out my camera and went back in after the chick left...thats why he ran up to me and started saying that he would do this and that and I could not leave the line and a whole bunch of stuff he knows is ludicrous...plus I shop there all the time and never had any problems Ive spent thousands with that store

anyway my point is there was no crime or any valid reason that would warrant an arrest....that dude is just a nut job that needs to get fired from his little hustle...I dont care if his an undercover cop, fbi, cia or whatever...professionalism is professionalism

law abiding customers should not be treated that way

now its all a matter of collecting my monetary compensation via lawsuit...I already turned down $40000 not to go to court

ok, I have no idea what I just saw or what transpired. from my understanding, there was a lady in front of him and he put his stuff down to wait for her to finish. he stepped away for a bit so she could finish shopping. something must've had happened that the video didn't show. if a customer wants to place their stuff on the counter away from other customers things to go get something else or wait their turn then i see no issue with that. did he catch an attitude with the other customer or cashier for the long wait? weren't there any other employees that could've rung him up so he wouldn't have to wait? I saw he had a reward card so it's obvious he's a regular. I'm just wondering what happened before he left the store originally. not all Walgreen have security but even so there's no need extra toughness from the guard or harassment if the customer did nothing wrong. obvious the manager didn't know what was going on and the other employees didn't either.
