I think I'm starting to come around to RTO. Eliminates alot of competition on the job market since people outside of your city now have a higher bar to clear as they need to negotiate relocation costs into their package or they just don't apply at all. :yeshrug:
Hybrid is the best tbh. I don't mind going in (though I wish it was reversed and I was going in twice a week). Sometimes, I actually need to speak/go over shyt in person with my team, rather than do it through teams. There have been instances where we went through something on Teams and I'd have to do it again in person because some people weren't really paying attention.

That's called settling lol.
If someone is searching for work
80% hybrid/in-office
20% remote

But if you’re already WFH, why care about competition coming in to take your job?

Even on hybrid, I don't think my stress level was this low since college. My mood has overall been pretty optimistic since WFH and work is a bit more fun...and I have time to enjoy life and work on side projects and my business....

Life is good...

Even though I'll never accept a hybrid job I really do think it's the best. I think working from home but having the ability for an in-person meetings on the regular is the best model. I know for me I'm way more engaged in person because I can't be browsing The Coli mid-meeting with eyes on me lol.

I’m gonna suck on this WFH tit for as long as I can :yeshrug:

Realistically - I could be progressing my career faster and earning more elsewhere, but I value this more than money, etc

I’ve never been fitter in my life and I enjoy not stressing about commuting and in-office politics
