The company saves a fortune, too. Less utilities, office space needs, supplies, and so on. Less call-ins, too. There's been a few times where either I felt like shyt and was able to keep on or my kids were sick and I could work while they rested. Previously I would call in.
i got a ton of sick time saved up from having the flexibility of working from bed when I was really sick or when my kiddo was sick. our leadership team did say they will allow us to stay home and work while sick but I can already see people ruining it by abusing that policy. since I gotta be in office, my days of volunteering to do extra shyt I’m not getting paid for are over. the collaboration bullshyt is hilarious. i didn’t talk to the people in my department before we were wfh. i Am literally going to the office to warm a seat. my management team isn’t even in the same state as me.
