If you are being dragged back to the office and looking for a change do it now vs later, these companies are tightening the purse strings and pulling back offers in anticipation of this downturn. If you can get in good with a new company and make yourself more valuable than the bottom 40% that could potentially get cut, then go for it.

The World, but from BK
Since mid June, I go in once a week from like 11:30 to 3:30...the job provides a $20 lunch budget for whoever comes to the office. Job, company and benefits are great. My only problem is the office location. Right on the west side of Manhattan near 34th street. The area stinks, a bunch of homeless people and people shooting up on drugs. Just walking around there is starting to really get to me. Too many damn people. I've been spoiled working from my sun room and staring at my backyard in the burbs. Going back in is 100% voluntary until September. I think hybrid after that.

This WFH life is still treating me well :blessed:,

Got an interview next week with another company, but if they are talking about any type of in-office work situation, they getting bushed unless they paying me an outrageous amount of money.
You going work two gigs at once?

I remember you saying your current place is paying off your student loans but you got stay for 3 more years.

Nah, that’s why this new company would have to pay me a huge amount of money so I can pay the company back for paying my loans lol.

My job sent out a company release last month saying if you work remote you DON'T have to from home any longer. You can work anywhere in the world as long as it doesn't affect production

Guess who's WFH permanently? ✋🏾

I told my sister I'm gonna spend a few weeks with her. She said I have a entire room for you to work.

🤔 still might get a telly for that Louisville/Lexington p*ssy

That’s what we saw last time and because people are wfh the cuts are even easier since it isn’t done in person any longer which makes separation a simple zoom call away.

Sincerely,
Your HR breh

Wake up and look at the indicators the fed is giving us by trying to wrangle inflation. Multiple companies (large) I’m in touch with are pulling offers including us. Hiring is slowing down (in tech) which is usually a bellwether for other industries after a couple months.

Healthcare (as long as it isn’t admin like medical billing/coding or rna positions) are perfectly fine. Government and tax are also super safe sectors, everything else though? :francis:
