If I wasn't still relatively new to the job, then I'd be good with the WFH aspect but that shyt is not easy. Granted, it's not been easy doing that and school at the same time, so maybe my opinion might change now that I have more free time :russ:
If the commute isn’t too bad then sure. But I have an hour commute each way.

It's only about a 25 minute commute traffic permitting, so it isn't too bad. It's "supposed" to be three days WFH and two in the office, but you know how that can easily change which I expect it to once they get us back in the office.

4 days in office last week for conference room BS.

And I was in office yesterday and today. Going in tomorrow to do cable management. And again on Thursday because we're getting a new printer.

If I had known I'd be in office so often, I would've never went for this job. I'm positive the recruiter said it was remote. And after I signed the chief of staff hits me with, "You'll have to come in like once a week or so to do inventory."

I want to wait until end of summer to apply for new jobs. There's a couple of projects that would be good on my resume. But I saw a job in Indeed the other day that looks great (and is fully remote).

I’m in jersey and gas prices are raising every week by like 10 cents.

it’s $4.24/gal and like $7/gal in Cali.

No way inflation and a lack of workers and resources is causing the price to go up damn near every week. fukk these oil companies.

Last week, the new CTO started so a bunch of people flew in from around the country to be in the office. And I once again was in the office for 4 days (manager told me not to bother coming in on Friday).

One dude wore an N95 mask because he thought he had been exposed at some point. He has flown in from the Bay Area. On Friday, one of the project managers slacks my that he tested positive for Covid.

On Monday, my manager says he’s tested positive. And today, my sister texts me that she got it. Damn.

They really trying to get me back to the office. I put in for an exemption last year. Now they want a signed document from my doctor and some other forms to fill out. I turned them in last week. I'm going to milk this until the very last possible day.

Even when I go back to the office it's going to be a hybrid. I get 2 days of telework a week. Which I think it should be at 4 days a week. I haven't been back to the office since March 2020. I have done my job and didn't missed a beat.

Meanwhile, this guy is a jackass:

I just got approved to extend my work from home for another 6 months. Started mid-March 2020.

My supervisor told me it probably won't be extended after that though. Currently most co-workers are in office 3 days a week.

I've been trying to find another job for a year though with no luck.
