I’ve been WFH since early March 2020. I do not want to go back to the office. It’s lovely WFH, my commute is literally walking to my office room downstairs. Have literally saved thousands of dollars since I’m not commuting to work every weekday.

Waking up at 8:35 and logging in at 8:55. If I woke up at 8:35am 13 months ago I'd be rushing out of the house to be 20 minutes late.
Hand washing the car during my lunch break
Getting laundry and other small tasks done around the house on the clock

I hope they make our Department permanent WFH like they have others. I don't think the advantages of a Non-WFH promotion outweigh my current situation unless I'm getting a $15k raise

They told us in a meeting don’t be surprised if we have to go back to an office that being said they would support a hybrid model for those who can do their job at home
sounds like a future pay cut for those who want to stay away

I don't want to go back either but at the same time I'm starting to get a little depressed and losing motivation to work. Every day just feels the same.

Longer hours too than the office

I'm doing 1 or 2 days in the office and the rest at home to mix it up when ready

Now that i think about yall better be careful they might fukk around n ship ur jobs to india

My biggest fear
Unless it's a government job. I can't imagine they would outsource state or federal government jobs that can work remotely to people who are not citizens.

The public sector wfh right now is a tiny insignificant number compared to the rest of us working for private companies

I work for the federal government and there have been discussions about full time telework.

I'm an accountant.

I'm curious about what the rest of you do...
