Yeah, these are sad indeed. Admittedly, I watch a lot of random channels about real life stories u don't come across and this is on the ugly, sad side for sure.
Nothing is black and white, u have landlords taking advantage of tenants, tenents taking advantage of landlords, sometimes both and sometimes neither, just bad circumstances

I have inherited a house but is afraid to rent because of people not being able to pay rent and god knows what they will do to the property

Being a landlord for anything other than section 8 aint worth it. Too many tenants act like they doing you a favor by paying.
U ever lend someone money and they be slow to pay back but u seem them flossing on socials on the daily. Stay with some fresh js on.That's what being a landlord feels like

Nope. At the end they just wanted the property. They could have fought for the owed rent but I had convinced my parents earlier to start selling all of their rental properties because of the hassle of renting
The houses are all paid off years ago. If they still had a mortgage on it that would have been a different story. They ate the year lost on rent and just wanted the property so they can start renovating before they sell it

Facts. The 'landlord' slander is pretty much people thinking all landlords are rich as hell. And own buildings. Not the case. People agreed to paying a rent amount, so then pay it. Thats all.
As for the filming of the eviction, you gotta do that legally to show that you are doing everything by the book, as well as if the renter comes after you while you are legally conducting the eviction. I dont agree with putting that stuff online though. Thats just trying to embarass the tenant and thats not needed at all.
