The immaturity here is ridiculous. She paid for that seat, and has every right to recline. Personally, I try not to recline out of consideration, but what is punching her seat going to accomplish?

I'd have to ask her to move it back up. If she doesn't, I'd be pissed and ask to move, if that option isn't available I may get desperate.
Blame the airlines. They restricted legroom so much that reclining is basically pointless. And if you do you can literally put your seat on the person behind yous knees. I had that happen and i move my knees enough they get the message. Just because youCAN recline doesnt mean you should.

I'm mad the airline staff allowed that to carry on.
Reprimand him, and/or move the lady up to business.
No reason someone should have to put with that type of annoyance.

If the flight over 2 hours, I'm reclining my seat. I don't mind people if the people in front of me recline either.
I need context. Did the guy ask her to move the seat up and she declined? If so I can see why he did it.
if he didn’t ask her to move the chair he’s an ass for going 0-100 like that without asking.
I’m usually courteous of people around me so I wouldn’t recline my chair if I knew id almost be in someone’s lap but most people don’t give a fukk about anything .
