We know why he did it but you took the money. Honor the deal
Well it depends how you view it because 1000 a month for a whole house over 61 years, with inflation, taxed, maintenance, as the years pass that 1000 will become more and more chump change to the landlord. This sounds like a win win situation
Wouldn't the landlord come out on top if he invested the $730k? And the tenant saves money.
Some people feels it’s better to lock in the rate earlyIf you had that type of cash on hand why not buy outright
Some people don’t want the responsibility of home ownershipWhy are you pre paying rent 61 years in advance? Buy a house and a down payment on another with that money. He is a massive dummy.
If i was a landlord you are not pre paying me shyt, if i need to raise the rent i am not about to be stopped because someone wants to pay for decades up front. Would be big loss.
Then buy a condo. Some people don’t want the responsibility of home ownership
Wait no money was exchange? Get all of these clowns out of hereThe part one and two of this came out last week. The tenant ended up losing.
I watched both videos and my opinion is, the son did sign the lease and the receipt. There was never money exchanged (probably a scam). The father was probably doing questionable things too with the multiple transfers of ownership of the house. The judge was very biased towards the father.
Pretty much every one came out of this looking dirty.
According to the videos i watched, he had charges on him. The old man's lawyer alledges that he is a drug dealer. By renting longterm (assuming he's 25-30, the lease is 61 years, it's pretty much for his whole life( and prepaying for years supposedly, he not only secured housing for low rent for multiple years, secured himself against inflation, and most importantly, authority (govt, IRS, etc.) can't really seize anything from him cause he doesn't own it.If you had that type of cash on hand why not buy outright
