brehs this shyt felt like starcrossed from jlu but turned all the way up and in live action . This is how Superman should be utilized in film. As a gateway to a greater universe that makes us all seem small. Where do you think the phrase "this looks like a job for Superman" comes from. it's all about how the world would really react to an uncontrollable godlike being who is here "to help". less man, more Super. while I'm on the subject of Super, they gonna have to write the hell outta Batman to make him even semi effective in SM's world. I was watching the movie like dam, what the hell can Nolan's Batman do in this situation. he'd b sidekick status. Comic book Superman showed up in this flick, now its time for comic book bats to do the same

That's a good point. The way Superman was portrayed, I don't see how they can push Batman as even being close to equal even with all the "prep time" in the world. It'd have to be like an Independence Day superhero movie where they all have different paths to help save the day.

Like each hero has their own villain they face.

clapping after a movie is corny. i can see a play because the performers are right there in front of you but clapping for a movie when nobody that acted in it, made it, or was involved with it is there is pointless.

Man everyone knows if they had done the whole traditional route this movie would've gotten slammed and eaten alive for trying to replicate Donner's version....

Fans wanna see Superman go HAM....just like "Hulk".....which is why critics loved the first "Hulk" (awful film) and didn't like the 2nd one (great flick).

yeah they could top this if they did a Batman / Superman combo movie but i don't thing a solo Superman movie can. i mean they destroyed everything. what more can they do? do the same thing again? how do you challenge Superman? if anybody can get into a physical fight with him its gonna regress into what the second half of this movie was.

Saw it tonight IMAX 3d. fukking 9/10. The Krypton epilogue, the evolution of Kal, Zod da gawd, the way they worked Supes, the mass destruction.....
It all had me on some

i also like how they had Lois searching for him following clues and folks stories like he was big foot or some shyt... It played out so perfectly without doing the stupid Clark kent clumsy goofball stuff, that would have fukked the movie up... I was honestly disappointed when they introduced him at the daily planet... Almost hope they just use the daily planet stuff as a means to keep him close to Lois and also any big signs of trouble
