Honestly the only problem I got with what I've seen from the film is how dark the costume is colored. Superman's costume is bright for a reason and they don't seem to realize that. Most people never had a problem with the brightness of the costumes it was always about the material.

Reeve's costume was bright enough but was made out of cheap material.

Routh's costume was too dark and it had that stupid tiny shield on the chest.

Cavill's costume is the darkest yet. The material it's made out of is fine, the new stylized shield is fine too, but the lack of bright color is just off putting.

It they just made that shyt brighter it'd look so much better IMO:

It's a fukking superhero movie, they wear bright costumes. We're not talking about Batman here it's Superman. Superman wears a bright ass costume in the comics, cartoons, on television, and in all the previous films.

It's not over the top for a guy to be an alien that looks EXACTLY like a human fly through the air so fast that he can break the sound barrier?

If you prefer the suit not to be bright then just say so, but miss me with that "it;s not supposed to be over the top" or "it's supposed to be down to earth" stuff about a goddamn superman movie.
