Kevin Smith is hosting an official Man of Steel webcast this weekend (promoting the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the movie) that is supposed to reveal some artwork from the upcoming Superman vs Batman movie and possibly some major announcements about the sequel. Plus it will feature Zach Snyder, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon as guests.

I am not a whiny c*nt about Superman killing Zod like far too many people have shown themselves to be but this Man of Steel: The Animated Series video was amusing to me.
Just finished watching. This movie was bad, and it should not have been.
It started out good then just fell off the rails. It is like Nolan gave the blueprint, and Snyder ran it into the ground. The whole storyline felt rush. And honestly it felt like a bad Michael Bay knock off film.
What is so frustrating about this movie, Is that all the characters where well cast, and the acting was good(Costner killed it). And you know there was a good movie in there, but it seems like Snyder had no idea what he was doing. Ugh, such a waste.
God help us all if Snyder actually gets his hands on Batman.

I watched it for the first time about a month back. I thought it was terrible too but for different reasons. Reasons that kinda made me mad when I finished it.
Now I'm thinking Affleck will bring the best out of everyone in the next movie. Hopefully, at least.
I hope the next one is better. This movie seemed liked they jammed 2 movies into 1. So they could have a Batman Superman movie ASAP.

It was good, don't get me wrong ... but it also left a lot to be desired. And be mad at me all you want, but I just couldn't get behind the enormous amount of destruction that was caused. At some point it just felt like overkill, and you can say whatever you want to justify it but I can understand why moviegoers would be turned off by that shyt.
