Even a broken clock can be right 2x a day. He made some great points. Are yall really gonna argue the point that the oligarchs are overstepping like crazy and trying to buy their way into government? That they havent already have? Why is a south african billionaire collaborating with the Kremlin to oversee "american reform"?

Damned if you do and damned if you dont. I'm not saying the CCP is great but when Chinese billionaires like Jack Ma tried to overstep, the Chinese government immediately and viciously made them get back into line.

Musk / Bezos / etc + these christofacist organizations like the Heritage Foundation....
It doesnt really matter to me if the dude in the video was parroting CCP-approved points. he was still speaking facts. As Americans we need to be prepared to defend the Constitution and our rights as free citizens.
Yes, our system is deeply flawed. I talk about corporate greed, inequality, and oligarchic control in the US all the time. But don't let authoritarian regimes exploit your (valid) anger to push their own agenda. The CCP isn't here to liberate you, they're here to manipulate you, and sanitize their own brutal system.

Your Jack Ma example is revisionist. He didn't get "put in his place" because the state was holding billionaires accountable in the name of justice. He criticized the central control, and they disappeared him. China's billionaires are only allowed to exist as long as they serve the party line. That's authoritarianism. The "crackdowns" aren't altruistic. They're reminders that in a totalitarian system, no one is above the state.

The issues are real, but the source matters. Letting people like that set the tone for your politics is how you end up defending systems that are just as bad - or worse - without even realizing it.

you focus on where you live.

You can "focus on where you live" and still call out the intent behind what someone is saying especially when "corps run the politicians" is some shyt thats not only not groundbreaking but learned early on in life.

Also it’s bad enough we let White people put batteries in our back. Don’t let the Asians do it too. This is a problem caused by white people and they need to figure it out cause he is fukking them over too.

Half of my offshore team are located in either Mexico or Colombia. They’re not technicallly offshore because they are full time employees but they function like offshore where they work on US business. Companies large enough have similar strategies with centers in LATAM, India, and Eastern Europe. I would say LATAM have strong devs especially Colombia. India has stronger data and engineering imo. Culturally LATAM is a lot closer to the us. Most companies probably have quotas to hit like half of the team must be offshore .
Started seeing this trend at my company too like 2-3 years ago. I was trying to switch roles. All of a sudden felt like 80% of the engineer role openings only wanted people in MX, costa rica, Poland or Portugal. Smh
