I’m listening to the full unreleased album and I’m wondering if Dre (or any of his ghost producers) had anything to to with the track Everyday Thang. That joint sounds like an alt version of Natural Born Killaz and is probably one of like 3 standout tracks on the album.
Rest of the album sounds like any second/third tier R&B album from the 90s, especially when it comes to production. The writing on these tracks is meh and they ladies just barely get to flex their vocal abilities. Some good songwriting/vocal arrangement would’ve gone a long way since they could actually sing.
With that said, without DR’s committed backing and resources, it woulda been tough for them. It’s crazy since this was the era when Devante was around DR and presumably The Bassment crew would’ve been there as well, so BGOTI potentially could’ve benefited from those early Timbo/Missy collabs. After all, Ginuwine did backing vocals for Danny Boy on Slip N Slide, which is proof that anything Devante had access too, he was blessing DR with.

Wish Daz would’ve put more energy into his production. Dude is the author of one of the GOAT tracks in hip hop history and his production on Dogg Food easily outshined his rapping. This collab with Jodeci was one of the highlights on Murder Was The Case
