Like I said, Malcolm wasn't a Leader of any successful movement, so we have to stop speaking as if he was. Malcolm was a Spokesperson of one, and post NOI the organization he started on his own struggled. Elijah, MLK, and Garvey were leaders of movements so those are individuals you can compare if you want, Malcolm did not build anything he was nothing more than a Representative (an amazing one at that) or "Evangelist" if you want to say of the NOI.

And we gotta define "Micro" in order to determine what we can call larger scale. NOI was in the process of purchasing Planes and Ships to initiate overseas trade prior to Elijahs Death.

The NOI as I said had Infrastructure, institutions, and a "Military", no other movement in US history has done anything close to what they did 1975 and prior.

Thing is Garvey and Malcolm cant be compared in the same sentence. Your OG post was talking as if the ideas Malcolm Spoke were from a movement of his own. So you can only say what you said about Elijah Muhammad because Malcolm was literally speaking ELijahs Message (Malcolm literally starts 90% of is speeches with "The Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches"). And to say the NOI did not have a real Economic plan just shows blatant ignorance to the actual workings of the organization.

Like I said in another thread Lotta people thing NOI was just some "religious" group and these tend to be people who dont know anything about the organization other than what they saw in the Malcolm X movie and a few youtube clips.

OK cool folks dont like the Islam stuff, a Black Christian NOI type organization could have been created especially being that the NOI essentially gave out the damn blueprint AND even used the Bible to help Blacks understand why they should empower themselves, but guess what? Nobody did anything.

Quit using this we tried and we failed stuff when there was no Militarized arm in any of the historical prosperous Black communities of the past. If you scared say you scared, but dont talk about what WE aint or did do when you are saying things that arent true.

And theres your problem right there, you dont know the history of the people you speak on. Google W.D. Muhammad and how he bankrupt the org after his father died. I`m not saying the NOI is Bomb, I`m saying they got it right and created a blueprint for other people to easily implement. You could literally replace Islam with anything and the NOI blueprint would still work. The only mistake I saw in their history is 1.Elijah never specified a true successor which is why there were tons of Splinter organizations when he died 2. Black people in general tend to make their "Leaders" next to God which creates issues and can spark jealousy.

I'm not talkin' about the organization - i'm talkin' about the blueprint for their success.

I'll ask you again:

If that blueprint for success was so good, and anyone could take it and implement it...why haven't they re-implemented it?
How come they're not using their own blueprint?

And who needs a "leader" if you have a good blueprint to follow?
