I remember way back in middle school I did a report on the Autobiography of Malcolm X. I remember saying that I felt he was a hero and then my teacher disrupted me saying that he wasn't. I didn't say nothing when she said back then but it always stuck in my mind and as I learn more about him and hear his speeches and see how white people talk about him I can see just how much they feared his ideology because it tore down the roots of their power while building ours up. Now I understand why people think Malcolm X and the Black Panthers were so dangerous because what they preached and what they did was attack white supremacy at the core and focused on us loving and building ourselves up. Had I knew then what I knew now I would of ethered that bytch.
