Broke Wave
The GOAT
Breh. You're post is from wikipedia. You didn't even know Bloomberg was a large democrat and that he only ran as a republican because he couldn't win as a democrat.
Let's be fictitious reality. Bloomberg runs for president: Which party is he running under? Keep in mind we already know he switches parties for votes.
It saves middle to lower middle class and lower class tax payers. In any fashion, the PUBLIC pays for it. It is a government expense, meaning that if costs go up (obesity related sicknesses are a big/growing issue), the public has to suffer, through cuts and regardless of whether that public being taxed is poor or rich. You can't do anything you want on the dime of someone else.
Why am I even discussing this with a Canadian?
The Republican party has moved far to the right and the Democrat party has several different wings. He was actually being courted for a 2008 run for the Republican party anyway, so point dismissed.
It is not a growing expense, that is factually untrue.

The reason why I post Wikipedia articles is that on major issues and famous people, the articles are thoroughly vetted and extensively cited. Also, I'm sure that people who aren't that interested in reading thick legal text are reading this conversation, so I post something that gets to the point quickly.
Also, as far as me being a Canadian reducing my credibility... Do you have to live in Ancient Rome to know Roman History? Do I need to be in Iraq to know the effects of the Iraq War? Do I need to be your next door neighbor to know that your an uneducated arrogant jackass who hasn't convinced anyone of anything?
