Breh. You're post is from wikipedia. You didn't even know Bloomberg was a large democrat and that he only ran as a republican because he couldn't win as a democrat.

Let's be fictitious reality. Bloomberg runs for president: Which party is he running under? Keep in mind we already know he switches parties for votes.

It saves middle to lower middle class and lower class tax payers. In any fashion, the PUBLIC pays for it. It is a government expense, meaning that if costs go up (obesity related sicknesses are a big/growing issue), the public has to suffer, through cuts and regardless of whether that public being taxed is poor or rich. You can't do anything you want on the dime of someone else.

:snoop: Why am I even discussing this with a Canadian? :merchant:

The Republican party has moved far to the right and the Democrat party has several different wings. He was actually being courted for a 2008 run for the Republican party anyway, so point dismissed.

It is not a growing expense, that is factually untrue.

The reason why I post Wikipedia articles is that on major issues and famous people, the articles are thoroughly vetted and extensively cited. Also, I'm sure that people who aren't that interested in reading thick legal text are reading this conversation, so I post something that gets to the point quickly.

Also, as far as me being a Canadian reducing my credibility... Do you have to live in Ancient Rome to know Roman History? Do I need to be in Iraq to know the effects of the Iraq War? Do I need to be your next door neighbor to know that your an uneducated arrogant jackass who hasn't convinced anyone of anything?

Breh you didn't even know Bloomberg was a democrat. :why: Like, really. :comeon: I was being real generous by not stopping the conversation then.

The real issue is the govt is trying to control what people are doing.
That's the reason we are upset.
Its not actually over the soda but the principal behind it.
Any one arguing for the ban is a fukking idiot.
You dudes crying about taxes :russ: stop it.
:dead: @ these kids worried where the 78 bucks they pay in taxes in going. Prolly got pissy lil kids and fam on welfare.
Shout out to Broke Wave for slaying fakkits in numerous threads .
My family will be affected by the plan sometime in the near future. :manny:

There's no telling where this plan will go in the future. Sure it's no taxes for lower middle class now. Y'all nikkas keep getting fatter and unhealthier someone has to keep paying for it, shyt isn't free. So yes, I wouldn't not be surprised or mad if the government enacted bans on food/beverages in the future. Costs have to be kept low so everyone doesn't have to pay. Some freedoms will have to be lost if you want certain privileges.

What gave you the idea that I didn't know that? I don't think anyone can objectively read this thread and definitely say I didn't know Bloomberg was once a Democrat. I pointed out that he was actually a Republican before he was an independent, and that would make this thread absolutely irrelevant to Democrats/Republicans.

You got demolished on substantive issues and you tried to re-iterate your stupid talking points on Democrats being spenders, when you didn't even know that the ACA SAVES tax payer money :heh:

Eat a dikk fakkit.

You clearly didn't know why he registered Republican though, otherwise you wouldn't have brought it up as a legitimate point. Someone running as a republican to get votes doesn't equal Republican.

And it saves poorer tax payers money. The only reason it's not spending now is because cuts have been made elsewhere and richer people are being taxed. You're trying to make it seem like it's cost free when it's really not. Values have been exchanged, no matter where they come from.

:mindblown: why would you quote part of my post? Is this guy serious? You keep posting factually inaccurate things that I have addressed in previous posts... take a breather :shaq2:

I need to take a breather, but you're name calling cause your point is wrong? :pachaha:

You never addressed why he went Republican. If I hadn't mentioned the reasons, you'd still be trying to front like he was a real Republican, like people were stupid or something.

And it's still a democratic thing. You want more privileges (affordable health care organized by the government and promoted by democrats), expect to lose some privileges (no matter how damn trivial they are. LOL @ being mad about soda) Point blank.
