Thing is if you're an adult workin/makin minimum, you done fukked up somewhere down the road and are not tryna better yourself to get a higher payin job, usually. You pass a piss test, you should be able to at least get 8-10

10 dollars / hr. for 40 hour week without taxes is 1600

with taxes it's like 1,100 - 1,200

living in a shyt apartment for 500 a month you'd have a merely 600-700 left

to spend on food, car note and cell phone bill / cable/internet

And the fukked up thing is, nobody ends up winning anyways if minimum wage is raised. Inflation flares up. Companies have to cut people/hours.

True. My apartment is 450 in Cincy and I can go to school full time and work for most of that. Thank god for aid tho. Had a rough couple months late last year.

Unnecessary... What about when you get out in the real world and realize your black ass still doesn't matter? I also know plenty of brothas here in Atlanta that are making a great salary based off of that Morehouse degree.
