It really is a wack ass rule.

I'm about to find out if a 500 wager @ -8000 will make my $500 clear for withdrawal

Do the refund at the bottom of the withdraw screen. I had a $150 bet match and noticed it wouldn’t let me take it out but it was almost an instant transfer back to my card when I did the refund option. And still got to keep the $150 in free bets.
