Nah, I love the Jags in that spot. That's a classic Week 2 line overreacting to Week 1 results. Jags are not the dumpster fire they were 12 months ago, Urban is gone.

Another less extreme example of this: the Lions only being 2 point favorites at home against the Commanders.

Houston had couple of things that went their way against the Colts and got a big lead early, but the Colts recovered down 20-3. Only good teams are able to recover like that.

I wouldn't go against the Colts and pick that Jags in that game.

Few things I've seen...

1.Steelers with an ugly win with Watts out due to injury, it'll be a long season for them, lucky win over Cincinnati.

2. Packers Rodgers basically has no legitimate WR's (He took all the money)

3. Panthers lost to the Browns but I like how they competed.

4. Cowboys season is done.

5. Raiders run game is dead, Carr forced to throw a lot, but with 3 picks?

6. Saints defense is not as good as they say, Falcons Patterson ran for 120

7. Dolphins defense look good.

8. Lions ran the ball and Geoff had a game, but their defense let them down.
I had bet on NO & was surprised how they let Patterson run all over em..first time somebody had 100 yd against them in a grip & they play Lenny nxt week :patrice: truck sticks will be plentiful

They recovered because the Texans are bad, and if the Colts were any good they would've found a way to score in overtime.

I think that whole division is trash, but I thought the Jags were least trash looking AFC South team in Week 1.

I need Russ to throw a pick man. I had a prop for him to throw for 270+ and to throw a pick. I'm hurt from the Seahawks dropping the obvious pick in the end zone.

I was debating between Seahawks+6.5 and under 44.5

I went Seahawks and was :whew: I did in the 1st half.

But then in the 2nd half I got a bit worried the Broncos would make it 24-17.

In the end both won.

I initially took Denver on the spread, then I got into trouble, then switched it up during the 4th quarter....

decent first week. hit 4 of 10 and maybe 5 but can't really count the texans tie so more like 4 of 9. seahawks, steelers, bears, and giants came thru for me. lost on cards, cuz mahomes a beast, the falcons cuz of course they would choke, raiders, jets cuz they suck, and lions but they kept it competitive and i like what i saw from them. started with 500, 50 each and ended with 710, not a bad return. hopefully the trend continues.

looking towards next week, tho I'll prolly put my picks in later in week like friday if i avoid the TNF game. Looking at that game it's Chargers at Chiefs. Good matchup between division rivals playing on a short week. LAC the dog in this one at plus 165. My requirement for a road dog is over 200 or above 150 with a winning record and its still early but they did go 9-8 last year so they not a bad team. They did beat KC last year in KC week 3 before losing to them in LA week 15 tho that was an overtime game. I'll have to see if the odds get raised a bit more but its not too bad. Doubt Mahomes throws 5 TD again, especially on a short week.

jets +215 at the browns. Jets suck and worse being a road dog but the high price makes it worth the gamble.

jags at +170 hosting the colts. jags put up 22 to the colts 20 yesterday even tho one loss and one tied. if the texans were able to tie the colts, can't see why the jags can't keep the game close. o/u I see is 47 and I wouldn't be surprised if it stays under. lot of running prolly as well.

Falcons +430 at the rams. It's a miracle shot but anything can happen and at that price, its a worthy risk.

cowboys +255 at home vs bengals. bengals coming from a crushing loss to the steelers and the cowboys looked horrible vs bucs. plus they lost dak for a few weeks. this a game I need Zeke to go off on for fantasy purposes but even more so Lamb. Tho who know's who'll be throwing him the ball, I think it's Dalton not sure. Would like to see the Cowboys defense come thru but only on fumbles and no picks for Burrow cuz I need him getting me points.

Cardinals +205 at raiders. both teams coming off losses and the cards just had the bad luck of going against mahomes. i wouldn't say carr is anywhere near mahomes. 51.5 o/u tied for 2nd highest of week, chargers/chiefs have the highest at 54.5. good chance that 51.5 hits. i anticipate a shootout with at least 3 touchdowns each, preferably rushing ones.

my likely upset of the week is bears +360 at packers. hopefully the odds stay high or get higher for this SNF game. the bears did have some advantage of a slippery field this week to get a win but they still managed to hold off SF and looked ok. The Packers just let Jefferson destroy them. He a beast and I don't think any team can contain him so they not fully at fault but their offense didn't look too good either. I was pissed they relied on Dillon more than Jones, but not like their receivers did any better. Dillon had 46 yards and that was the team high. they lost to GB both times last year but Devante is gone and they got a decent young squad with Fields and Herbert.

don't see a ML posted for Titans at Bills for MNF but Titans look to be 9.5 point dogs on the spread so that'll likely be a high odds moneyline. might take a look if it gets posted and if its over 200.

chargers at chiefs at 165 and jags at colts at 170 might not be worth it at those low numbers. other 6 look tempting. will see how things look on thursday afternoon.

I feel Buffalo is going to destroy Tennessee.

I also like GB to spank Chicago if Lazard is back.
