Played it save today...I should have put more money on that -4.5 Ravens line, too good.

I ain't trying to do no pocket watching, but you'll lose out in the long run if you wager like this. Risking that amount for minimal return simply isn't worth it. You may think it's playing it safe, but it's the exact opposite. If you're doing singles you should be looking at getting at least double or close splits with the spread.

Another terrible week, no wins. Disgusting…

Missed on my college picks which I wasn’t super confident about. But I felt very confident about week one NFL only to take losses immediately. That’s the worst feeling, knowing your parlay is doomed off the first 1PM games. My fault for believing in unproven teams (Niners, Colts, And Saints especially).

I agree with you, but my strategy for week one was not to go completely in and just watch games mainly and be safe.
I only picked those games when they had healthy lead just for the fun, so I know it was not much of a risk.

When I need a good return, I wager before the games.

Few things I've seen...

1.Steelers with an ugly win with Watts out due to injury, it'll be a long season for them, lucky win over Cincinnati.

2. Packers Rodgers basically has no legitimate WR's (He took all the money)

3. Panthers lost to the Browns but I like how they competed.

4. Cowboys season is done.

5. Raiders run game is dead, Carr forced to throw a lot, but with 3 picks?

6. Saints defense is not as good as they say, Falcons Patterson ran for 120

7. Dolphins defense look good.

8. Lions ran the ball and Geoff had a game, but their defense let them down.

Vegas loves recency bias. I'd stay away from that game.

Nah, I love the Jags in that spot. That's a classic Week 2 line overreacting to Week 1 results. Jags are not the dumpster fire they were 12 months ago, Urban is gone.

Another less extreme example of this: the Lions only being 2 point favorites at home against the Commanders.
