I get what you're saying but he's still not underrated. I guess he's being emotional and wants to be treated a little different by ESPN and the rest of the media but fukk that he needs to man up and look at all his cash and be like :wow12::wow13:

He's a very good defender. He was on ACC All-Defensive team in college and was very pesky defensively in Dallas when he played. I remember him punking Steph Curry in a game where the refs had to sit him because he was embarrassing him so badly. He was also the main reason NY was so good defensively in the Summer League this year.

He also said in the off-season that he primarily worked on his shooting.

He's not the 1st player to speak his mind on issues like this. It reminds me when Lj complained about being voted 2nd for DPOY (despite the fact that he's a horrid defender, but that's another topic). 'Melo should be allowed the right to speak his mind without people taking issue with it. After all, everyone else is. 'Melo isn't allowed to do or say anything without complaints.

i dont know. maybe package him for a quality player or a draft pick.

knicks dont really need three PGs to run the triangle, especially when they have three quality SGs.

To walk for cap space , ferry has that report saying melo isn't really worth 20 mil a year , ESPN rankings have him out the top 10 and lets be honest he got a lot of people saying he's not with the money . Melo has a right to feel underrated if he so should choose . I don't get the pocket watching in this thread

Stating facts is not the same thing as worry. He is underrated, as are other players. Not everyone who says that is worried about it. I doubt you apply this standard to other players. Where's the link to you applying this standard when Lj complained about being voted 2nd for DPOY and to KD complaining about being voted 2nd for MVP before this year?
