JR Smith had his great moments with the Knicks, but considering his contract and his play lately I wouldn't mind him off the roster contract wise and how he's regressed

Shump, I envisioned him as the starting SG driving to the basket finishing and always playing that defense. The knee injury was tough. I want Shump to stay. I know he's been struggling, brick shot, not finishing etc. He's a Knick through and through tho and can comeback if anything defensively.

THJR is a shooter, no more no less. I love his confidence. I want him to flourish in the triangle offense.

Larkin played well in the Summer League but I'm not sold :yeshrug: #knickstape

Call me crazy, but I'd keep all 3. Ellington should be the odd man out. I still believe in Shump, I honestly believe JR will bounce back this season & want to see what Larkin is capable of
C/S, We know Shumps capable of more then he did last year and he did start to play better towards the end of the season. I remember he had 5 steals in a game against the brooklyn :flabbynsick:

Hardaway JR is a shooter and JR can do alotta different things when hes on...

I thought JR played better towards the end of the season and showed he still has his athleticism. Im one of the few thats still a fan of JR :manny:

On the contrary, when we did get to the playoffs he disappeared. I dont know if it was the partying, jinxing himself by elbowing terry, or the injury he was playing with, probably a little bit of all three.

What we have now with Phil and Fisher (in my opinion) is structure. Phil Jacksons trying to build a different culture with our team and hopefully JR buys in, no one can deny that hes had his moments where hes sh*tted on other teams. I think having more structure will be good for players like JR and Shumpert. Last year we missed Kidd, Kurt Thomas, and Sheed. They provided more structure and leadership for the team, they made sure everyone was accountable for themselves

This is what was missing BIG TIME last year, and you see the effect the vets had on the younger cats like JR & Shump.
